So, I am one who has not had nightmares in years..and even when I do have creepy dreams, I enjoy them too much for them to be considered nightmares...but,one I had last night as I was falling asleep, was too insane, and my heart was racing afterwards.
What happened was this:
I thought I was laying in bed, drifting off to sleep, when suddenly, it seems like all my spirits finally decided to be active.
My room started swirling with shadows, and a wind picked up, almost like a hurricane type wind, and all I could hear was the sound of many flapping wings, and my air was getting sucked out of my body, and then the bedsheets started to writhe, and come alive, and trapped me, as I was trying to scream for it to stop, I had no voice, and the shadows were caressing my entire body, but not in a good way, like as if things were trying to hold me down, and the feeling was like many feathers beating against me, super speed.
I tried to sit upright, but the bedsheets were slithering over me, and things were moving up the sheets and holding me down. I struggled, and finally managed to force myself upright, heart pounding, and again tried to scream, but my voice was not coming out, almost like it was being blown away by a hurricane.
I finally with a panic, screamed out a line from a song I love called the Cedar Room by a band called Doves...
and for once, my voice rang true...I yelled out, "I'll be your shadow, in the cedar room!!!!" and then suddenly...
everything stopped.
And then I was staring at the communicate with your spirits pendant and my mystic arts pendant which hang from my lamp, and they were both slowly swinging.

Wow.
Okay, it must have been a dream, what else could it have been?
But I honestly have never had a dream like that, ever.
If you are curious what the song is that I screamed out, it is actually one that is so beautiful to me, and whenever I hear it, my heart aches (in a good way)

and whoah, watching this edited version of the song's video, which I had never seen before, how fitting is it to my dream?!
The imagery sorta fits with what was going on in my dream...creepy. (it is edited for length,as the original starts off slow, and builds.
here is the full song for anyone who wants to be blown away by a magnificent song (i suggest listen to the full version to get the full effect)
